Nutrition
“May your food be your medicine”

A dog or cat diagnosed with cancer can develop health changes such as weight loss, nausea, vomiting, selective appetite and / or intestinal disorders, for example, which makes it difficult to eat and compromises the body's proper nutrition.
When talking about cancer treatment, it is customary to discuss with the family about treatments such as chemotherapy, electrochemotherapy and/or surgery. However, regardless of the treatment chosen, it is important to provide an adequate diet to the patient to avoid malnutrition, which is often hidden. This approach has been proven to improve treatment response, facilitate post-surgical recovery, and promote overall quality of life. Nutrition is part of cancer treatment!
We carry out nutritional monitoring and guidance for ALL our patients, as we understand that adequate nutrition is of paramount importance for the success of cancer treatment.
The consultations are carried out in partner veterinary clinics in Greater São Paulo and other municipalities by Dr Vanessa Muradian
